This ten week collaborative research project for Fossil Watches was tasked with exploring new concepts for the Smart Active Movement [SAM] which combines analogue and digital features in the one system.
Leading a team from Motion Media Design, Design Management, Industrial Design, and Graphic Design, we undertook research, user case development, production and prototyping of two watches and associated packaging, a bracelet style activity monitor and an iOS app, which we named “Yantra” - to control watch functions.
We also produced a 180 page process book, an 8 minute film visualization of the watches in use and 3d rendering [above] of the final watch concepts.
